Rolling mist fills scented vale

Blessed quietude

the presence of quail, rolling mist and scented dawns would be quietude enough to bless the most troubled of souls, Carolyn. Nice to see quail make a welcome entrance into poetic verse... they don't often get a mention! Serene, thank you. Kate xx

Thank You Carolyn
For this wonderful write
It brings me memories of my youth
as I loved listening to the calls of the quail

love the sounds of birds in the mountains...I can sit on my front porch and enjoy the sounds of the lonesome doves...to me they seem to bring a sense of peace with their beautiful song. Enjoyed this much, glad I stopped by!

The sound of quail and other birds seem to brighten even a rainy day, well said...

Be always safe,

softens the edge of the harsh world, Carolyn...
You give such clarity and uniformity in just a few words...

early morning quail coveys - coming off the roost with this one...

suggesting that quail can sense an approaching weather event, Haven offers good habitat management - "wind out of the East, find birds the least"...

A very peaceful write. There is nothing like the call of birds in the early quietude of morning.
