Not easy to achieve what you do, Carolyn,
to convey tellingly what you mean within
the chosen form...this is genuine craft
conveying genuine feeling. When i read this
i think of the dreaded Hour of the Wolf,
but i think, too, of 'Promise of Release'

You write thoughtfully CGMB. Always enjoy your inventions. And if I may, I see another aspect in these four stanzas hidden in full view. It's not 5-7-5 but check this out, using the second line in each stanza ...
"Feelings buried stir anew
Songs unsung echo in turn
What choice but to carry on
Dance of life on Eastern rise"
Kinda cool I thought ...
