a quiet read, please

calm the soul

and ease thy mind

pleasured worlds beyond

 

weighty noise of life

lurking perils everywhere

tensions strain thy heart

 

quest for refuge guides

turn that page

and dream along

spirit-fed delights

Amen! Anytime I can find the soothing solacement of peace, freed from mental agitation, and the noise of societal endeavor, I'll take it and enjoy it like a steaming fresh Chicago Hotdog. But it would be nice if it could be more than a momentary experience; a lifestyle (I'm thinking) would be very cool. Thanks for you're over-the-top kind comments on 'of reddened apples' CGMB. That opening line, Carolyn,
is as much as anything a polite suggestion
to the reader and the rest of the fine-wrought
is spiritual calm, a devotee at prayer...real prayer.
