She plays a mean game of ping pong

She talks of her family and things she has been cooking

She has a hard time seeing,

yet does not want any special treatment during the game

She always is intersted in what I am doing

She has a wonderful and full past

meeting famous tenise players etc.

She thinks no one wants to hear her stories

or cares about what her life was like

Oh, but I do, and her family does!

She is in her ninties

I am writing about her,

but I am also writing for others

who may feel this way

people in the eighties or ninties,

or older - We DO care!

For those of us younger,

please let my proclamation

to them be true !

They deserve it!
