What is love?

Is it the love of ice cream?

Is it a one night stand?

Is it the desire for cigaretes or alcohol?

Or is it a feeling you have when you care about someone?

Is it the look in a small childs eyes when they look at their parents?

I believe it is a gift from God

Deep and true love comes from God

but we are the ones who can help it grow

within ourselves or let it decrease

It is also a commitment to a person, belief,or cause

It usually can be very joyful and encourqging, while

at the same time challenge us and help us grow

Love, the wonderful gift God gave us-

Will you help me try and help it grow

within ourselves and the communities we are in?

Oh, what a wonderful gift that would be

for Jesus on Chrsitmas!
