"WAR" acrylic C Julianza Shavin

I have moved this poem to the top for, forgive me, political reasons, and because I added in an artwork today, of three children in the rubble and devastation that is war. This is a "slam" poem -- as in, meant as performance "slam" poetry. It is about Dubya, and the narrator, who is female, assumes the role of Geo. Bush. Any slurs embe dded are not the author's; they are intended as occurring in the mind of the current president, Bush.

BUSHWHACK

I want to make love to you

Like Bush wages war

Blindly, passionately, ruthlessly,

With no exit plan whatever

And say we should really click

On more levels than the one

DAMNED be the levels!

Or is that levees?  Huh.

I want to sunder you like semi's

All engines stoked on crack

Tank you with my  Afro-snatch of

smarmy mass-destruction!

I want the shrapnel

Of my Hitlerian desire

Vetoing your very viscera

All your limbs feckless flailing

Like some Iraqi mother wailing

Over maimed dismantled baby bodies --

I want in you a post traumatic

Choke nuking you useless

For anything but me

And every one of those outer

and inner children snippily

Silenced and dead.

Yes, I want to be the only Bush

Wacking you wantonly

Heedless as to what our allies say

About everything that's come to light

i want to snuff them out

Like a homo's monstrous life

Want to lobotomizing your essence

Down to the animal stem

The sniff and skulk and snuffle

Of scum and lust and hunt !

Then I want your littler head

On my teasing tongue, to tame

And flame you for exactly six minutes

children's easy-reader books

While somewhere beyond your

Tumultuous roar

Two people-packed monoliths

Jettison and rend

Which only someone of

my stunning stature

Could fail to comprehend.

I mean to taint, taunt, assault you

Til in your daft delirium, you shriek

Halleluyah!  Praise Gore! --

and hosannah all the jive-ass Jews

Not voting right, and Jeb for

encrypting the black vote by night.

I aim to flood your every vein

With passion's pernicious poison

Til all the clammy waters in you breach

And like those TV preachers' screech

Misunderestimating

Every deed and damage

Oh God, oh God!

The Chads made me do it!!

And then we'll maybe chat up the veep

That lovable old Dick who even today

Might someone shtick, and then

ponder the really serious asides

like Dobson, Rush and Pat-on-the-back

And Pastor Ted in his - oops! sullied bed

Ever denying the thrill of head....

And then onto an eclectic feast!

Prunes that were their rosy cheeks

Cherries, their terrified mortal orbs

And fancy little fingers, foods.

Wicked wine and jaundiced juice

Oh Sweet Satan's sumptuous sin

Dribbling my ubiquitous grin!

Crackers, smack, and thick Swiss cheese

Like craniums riddled to test the breeze

And other flesh or bloodened things

Sure as shootin' a Texan to please!

And THEN, I'll reDO you til you

Detonate a million trillion malaprops

See then which phallic flag you wave

NO, you'll NOT escape MY Abu grabe!

You can run you can't hide

You can chafe or you can chide

Through blackened cities

Crawl and comb, but

I'm in Oval-icious Office orgy

AND NOBODY ELSE GOES HOME!!!

Much anger and sadness in this one, Julianza, and so true - am voting, but don't like either of the choices, given - write in candidate time, perhaps you? Well done.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Wow. I vote Julianza Shavin for president even though I have to vote for a prime minister in Canada. I am impressed and I concur. Love and best wishes to you, Julie,

Regis

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!

Say Something Terrorible v3 by RickthePoetWarrior

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.
