Bile
The wind is a shrew
Howling madly
Her dissatisfactions;
Her dementia
Makes you tremble
In unison
This has been a day of it
Trees whipped madly
Like bad children
Anything not nailed down
Flung like bile
The house screeches
From every crack
With you, too, mad,
All walled in,
Tending the fire
Fending the terror
The wind is a hellion
It smites where
You’re most vulnerable
Places you haven’t visited
And wouldn't want to
For aeons.
