A friend relayed the first phrase; I thought it poetic. Then I learned it was scientific. I've taken the advice of a reviewer and updated by centering, to mirror the sense better. Thank you, my reviewer! Updated words.
Stark Trek Walking is a controlled fall, they say, literally – the trek from four to two, and balancing ever after, self-conscious creatures delirious at doffing the animal self, freedom's unwitting captives, ponderous, plodding. Copyright Julianza Shavin 03/08

I love the way you formed this one. If centered, it would image the balancing act of bipeds. Cool title, too, which is what caught my eye. Nice work :-)
