More filler til I can write the poem with the end lines I woke up with a few days ago which will put the last couple to shame. But hey, I want AD to be a repository for all my stuff, so bear with me as I continue my little cynical trek. New readers, please consult the older poems. Anti-depressants are commonly used to enhance serotonin, to aid the sleep of an insomniac such as I. I've tried them all. None of their purported advantages takes. Thus, the conclusion. Question: if you don't know about anti-depressants for sleep, then the first part makes no sense. Should I fix it? Say "sleep-seeking anti-depressant" or some such? Your opinions are valued. Thank you.
I'm sure a dinosaur would love digging into a feast with those saw-sized teeth. Ever since I read 'Interview With the Vampire' by Anne Rice, I've wanted to be a vampire like Lestat. I even have a mental list of meals. Thanks for Dinosaur Dreams. :o)

No, Sweetie, I think the beginning of your poem stands as written. Everyone will understand. We live in an anti-depressant world. Actually, most dinosaurs were probably a happy lot (it takes brains to be depressed), with nothing better to do than walk around biting things and making baby dinosaurs. Of course, getting stuck in tar pits was a bummer :-)
I, as I may have mentioned, am the champion of sleepless nights.
I also rarely remember dreams. I'm glad you do because I love this
poem, though in my valued opinion, I think you could lose these
two lines:
Enough to fell
though not enough to cheer.
But if you listen to me, you're nuts. -gene.
P.S. Sorry the type is so small. I'll try to do better.
Ouch!! Why even fight it?? Warm milk, cup of hot chocolate. Me, I just stay up and find other things to pre-occupy my time. I admit easier now that no clock interferes. Your message is loud and clear and in a most ingenious fashion....
In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
Questions, unquestioned discoveries, and answers in parable and rhyme…. This collection records a journey starting with a 1960s retrospective and the first man on the moon, moving to a new millennium welcomed in with a terrorist spin, family crises,
