This one may be a little dense (like me, like I). But basically, it's about being a bit too afraid to be ourselves, to be a black sheep. Of course, a GOOD poem needs no explanation. But anyway, here 'tis. Yup, I need to get out some of the cliche. The last two lines are cliche, right? Maybe I should say "excess of yes-ness." It doesn't quite make sense, but basically, even though some birds hang around in the winter, it is supposed to imply that birds fly south, but this one, for whatever reason, bucked the "system." I need to work on that.
