Remembering a lost love

Two glass coffee mugs,

              You loved steamy green tea.

A book of typewritten recipes,

and music tape,

              You made just for me,

Two caps,

one gray, one black

worn to bed,

to keep the chill off you.

Soft, flannel-striped jammies,

Dozens of black socks, too.

The simplest things, left behind,

to mourn,

            And yes, still missin' you.

ISN'T THIS SO TRUE...WHEN THERE IS STILL, EVEN THE SLIGHTEST OF FEELINGS LEFT, THE 'SIMPLEST THINGS' ONE COMES ACROSS, CAN BRING ON THE MEMORIES OF A LOST LOVE. THANKS FOR SHARING BRYNN, YOU ARE ALWAYS ENJOYED. LOVE, JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS.

Sentimental and sad, yet remembering all the little things brings comfort too...

Be always safe,

Sweet, sad, honest, and real; I can relate to it all, Brenda. Love and best wishes to you,

Regis
