What right do people have? I ask,
What right do people have;
To discriminate, stereotype and judge?
I cannot bare to see unfairness
Every day.
It makes me sad to see so many people
Judge and violate
Innocent souls
Each day.
Everyone wants a right
But NOT a right that
Will Overpower someone else's life.
A right to live, laugh and love
Three simple "L" letter words
We all want in our hearts.
But true ly,
What gives us the right
To be so wrong, so many times?
How many different people have you hurt?
Just ask yourself that once
I'm sure you'll count
At least two or three...
When walking along the street
Don't bother making racist or
Plain hurtful comments
About the people that you see.
Those are not the rights people
Have been fighting for all of their lives...
The person you hurt, might
Very well be destroyed
By the comment you may make...
One word comment can cost a life.
A death too many of an innocent life.
Think of what you do and say -
Don't be so blind
To the unbelievably judging world...
Leave your negativity behind.

This is what I feel about human rights and really all that's going on in the world these days... still.
