This is a surrealist, prose poem.

Poem Artwork

To lurch against the sky, upside down as it was, required a symbol, through helplessness, dabbing at the eyes of an attorney who loved the sweet children.  Not taken from their homes, these grew to be the nation, and remnants of them caused the lawyer sorrow that thought was changing to reflect a bitter comparison, between little and less, which promised them nothing and delivered a refinement of intended torments.  On their way, the existence of animals proved only that higher authority provided for this livelihood owing to the nature of a proud servitude expecting to reap from the growth of their helpfulness.  Simply demonstrated mistakes did never provide shelter from the narrow reach of a steamroller, not allowing the creatures to move back and forth.  The pictures were posted by the paper and the screen, after which, the rating of erasure could not guarantee herds dressed in black.  An exchange of places brought them to the barn or to the pasture of the ship; from there, impulses were delivered to stimulate tourism among the shelves with the villagers and down in caves with denizens crouched in their dark holes.  It was from this community that the scream of apprehension tore at the nerves and the cables.  It was pain piled upon other injuries that had to be managed, by uncertain means, as the reverberation became music, carved within the confrontation, to obtain a gathering of friends.  When the dogs snarled and bared the white teeth of the dwarf star, the giant star became a fairy in the stretch between her problems.  It had been clever to install a lever on the door to the traveling place in which, were dwelling the raging teeth snarling at the cause of agony where the doctors had been working to emerge victorious.  Sparkling caves rose up to prove an answer which included a dragon and thoughts found in the hollow.  These were sobbing out the curiosity as to where had gone the more important souls of them.  Quietude was less bitter between his jaws because they had been confronted by ducks and clucks echoing across the floating lake.  There could be no end, so, turning her back on the beginning, the two of them walked to meet their friends, warm from the farm.
