Angels….what do we know of Angels?

They are luminescent

They shine as the sun

They radiate light from within

Some claim they have wings

Some say they reflect the glory of God

They are messengers

They convey peace to the soul

They ‘bring glad tidings of great joy’

They comfort those in need

They strike fear in the hearts of those who do evil

They encourage, enlighten, speak truth

They are strong, speak forthrightly

They are gentle, soft, compassionate

They speak with the sound of mighty waters

They move with the grace of the wind

Angels . . . they say are pure

Without guile and deception

And come from a celestial sphere

That they come from the presence of God

And once in a great while they exist . . .here.

I know of such an ‘Angel’

And she has revealed herself to me

One with such light and beauty

Serene, luminescent, and brilliant for all to see

For Her light truly shines eternally.

My Angel speaks with soft compassion

She speaks and fills my soul with peace

She speaks with the force of mighty waters

And moves with the grace of the breeze

Her essence is angelic and her grace divine.

My Angel is gentle and my Angel is strong

Gives birth to the joy and innocence of children

Her kindness to others engenders calm

And darkness flees when she is present

For my Angel is truly Heaven sent.
