Reality to check to those my age and younger, avoiding their dreams to be someones spouse, when we have nothing but time on our side

Bliss vs. Reaching A Dream 12/01/08

Are you living in the bliss of it all

Or am I just out of touch

Do goals pertain no substance or relevance anymore

Or are gowns and joint accounts more perceptible

Exchanging freedom of rights for a honeymoon night that important to you

Ambition vs. need for marital secretion, the latter must loose

Does anyone have dreams anymore?

Barefoot with child is idealized in young ones minds

The sense of compatibility is what they thrive on

Instituting self essence is of no more

Can your new boo establish that for you?

Or you and him or her and you depend on one another for self disclosure

Nobody wants to find their inner anymore

Where are the dream chasers in this world?

Can't even declare a major or secure a profession

But bridal magazine has your full devotion

Tuition being invested in apartment home accents

Still being chauffeured by public transportation

Heart shaped bling looks great with that purse girl

Infatuation with love got minds out of order

What happened to dreams falling in love with?

Interpreters could say I’m young as well so who I am to speak

But I’m looking around with an open mind and heart

Staring at the disappointment they're oblivious too

I want to be a writer, a prominent figure in the biz

Establish decent credit so I can really live

Provide stability and royalty for the woman who birthed me

Make myself proud to be who I am

They want…

A committed relationship without the commitment

The title not the contents

The fantasy of Life Time movies

A boy to become their man for eternity or until one arises to the grounds of reality

No ambition to become no more than wifey

Rushin time to provide a false sense of security

Loosing self identity or giving up trying to locate

Maybe I’m peering from a level not yet attainable by young minds or...

Young lovers don't believe in reaching dreams anymore

Chasing rainbows and dreams, beautful in and of itself. Why not be successful at both and never stop reaching, nice writing..

Be always safe,
Karen
