Poem I wrote in 2008 aboout being patient with a love..

When Ready

03/13/08

I know you're out there somewhere doing what you gotta do to fulfill your purpose in this world

Taking on challenges only your strong minded self could tackle

Making me proud to have known your name

I know you’re having meet and greets with your dreams telling them you are on your way

Grazing the grounds of a new land you can't wait to build home on

Making sure the world has heard your word plus more

Making mother and father feel joy for their baby boy

But your presence is missed right here in your chair where conversations over hip hop occurred

Under the midnight blue sugar sprinkled time before you and I would cuddle and sheet wrestle

And I have questions to ask and knowledge to gain from you

And the days seem off balance when you're not around to say something funny so I could stare at you crazy but lovingly

So when do you plan on comin back?

Not to be a bother or seem attached I just wanted to know

I mean I needed to know

So I can get myself well prepared to love a man like you the right way and all that comes with

Like changing my mind frame to tune into a different channel that's more relaxed, accepting, mature, conqueror of all, the way you think

The way I’m growing to think

So continue to fulfill your purpose in this dense world that is a trip to live in

I'll be here saving your chair under the midnight blue sugar sprinkled time ready to share secrets from the past and future planned tasks

While that jdilla mix you love is playing in the background

I’m here when you're ready

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!

Sunrise of Thought by Bruce Humphrey

Welcome! The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help. Beautif
