I'm thankful for
Thanksgiving Day
Though turkey legs
And large beer kegs
Increased my ample girth


Now, my stuffing
Has no gluten
My gravy has no milk
In its place, I substitute
Tasty soy silk


Gone are the days
When giving thanks
Meant putting on the weight
With pumpkin pie
Yams, corn and rye
And other stuff we ate


So now I'm thankful
For the past
And all the times of yore
Plus all the other savory foods
That made me Mister Four by Four
