I give my thanks for many things,
Like drumsticks, pie, and chicken wings.
We have so much to thankful be,
Like peace, and calm tranquility
May God protect our soldiers bold,
Out fighting in the heat and cold.
And may we see that happy day,
When war and killing go away.
Let's all salute those lads and lasses,
Who guard our freedom at the passes.
They stay on guard so you and me,
Might live our lives both safe and free.
