Eye exams have me upset
They make me awful blue
And since the drops are blinding me
There's little I can do.


And so I wander 'round the house
As blind as any bat
Whose radar isn't working right
And don't know where it's at


But soon this blindness will be gone
My eyes will shift to norm
And inspiration will return
And I'll be back in form

Very interesting write. Blind as a bat. Some people spend their whole life that way, if not physically then spiritually.
