In memory of my late beloved 99 year old father, who lived three months short of 100 years.
Tick tock sounds the clock noting alarm I lost my protective arm. Tick tock sounds of the clock said my father noise is bother. Tick tock buy me a clock without racket or bring me a hatchet. Tick tock sun set on the dock buy me a clock for noise to mock. Tick tock noiseless sounds never graced my ears complete with fears. Tick tock silent sounds as I sit alone in sun that had shone. Tick tock sounds the clock noting alarm I lost my protective arm. �

You have succeeded in bringing forth the image of the ticking clock and the slow passage of time, while missing a beloved one. I lost my own father at the age of 25 and I understand the feeling.

what a fine tribute to your daddy...WOW, almost 99! that is AMAZING. my daddy just turned 74, i am grateful to still have him. my mom was 59 when we lost her :( and gramma was 93. there is longevity in my family, but not on my mom's side...and i look like mom LOL hope i have dad's insides LOL
