I missed the love on the news tonight,
Too much left and too much right,
Well I’m not here to start a fight;

So please be patient, please be kind,
Search your heart and not your mind.
You’ll be surprised what you will find;

So toss the records of the wrongs
And if you sing, sing happy songs,
No need to protest what belongs;

All you have to do is ask, "is what I'm doing or doing as a result of good government or bad government the loving thing to do?" Thankfully, our Constitution allows us to "alter or abolish it." And the First Amendment, left out of the original Constitution, allows for freedom of speech and petition. Without reported unloving discrepancies in our behavior and the ability to protest to make it right, we are locked in a government that is unchanging and brutal to some people. Others may like it that way.
For example, is making the police more military so they can crackdown on unrest and injustice protested, the loving thing to do? Or do they need funds for tanks and military automatic weapons?
