Unconditional Shadows

Taking you into every breathing whisper,

lost in the ivory tones of a country chapel,

I held you tightly and touched the flowers

adorned in your hair Kissing you into me

We have walked along a broken road

That seems to keep us together,

My eyes have grown around the table

As your smile permeates every freckled face

Looking up to me

I have willed you into my senses

Casting all who I was to the closet,

cloaked to gather dust, among the ruins

Of snapshots and photo albums

Hear me creeping on the steps as I ascend

To touch the flowers in your hair

Run with me in the sunlight

So I can feel you hiding in my shadows

And taste sun ripened ecstasy

Lost in every kiss that withers on the vine

Along the broken road

Welcome! The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help. Beautif
