What Thin Line

At what point do we draw a boundary and know when we have crossed the line?

A thin line? A thin line?

Yes a thin line

Which side will I be
If line be so thin
 
Yes! A thin line
Between what I ask
Must line be so thin
And very lean
Yes thin….
 
Between
love and hate
Infatuation and love
Ingenious and insanity
Jealousy and awe?
Yes a thin line
 
Between
Control and protection
Hate and admiration
Neglect and protection
Peace and calm
Sadness and depression
Yes a thin line
 
What is this line? Can you see it?
I can’t….
But my imagination always draws the line
That thin line
If I stand on that line
I will be on both sides.. or none at all
 
That line is a fragment of my imagination
The thin line is reality
            But….
What thin line?
You be the judge

I guess that's a matter of perception. In other words the line is in a different place for each and everyone of us.

I love this poem. We often use lines as a division point, but it seems you have used the proverbial line to bring togetherness. Great work!
