0 Zero clouds in the sky above
Don’t you think the sun is bright?
I wonder where it goes at night?
As the sun was shining bright during the daylight,
1 One big bull looked up at the big bright sky with his dog-like snout,
His two big ears went flap, flap, flap
He always liked to pout…
2 Two dingoes had two big pointy ears,
They heard a loud growl and let out a big howl
3 Three emus birds were six feet tall
One big emus said, "I wish I could fly up high in the sky.”
We can’t the other emus’s replied we’re too big and silly we can’t fly, Especially high in the sky!
4 Four kangaroos went hop, hop, hop,
And when they stand, they’re taller than a man
5 Five feral pigs oh what noble creatures!
Blessed with all the finest features
Silken fur from tail to muzzle,
I wish I could be a great big feral pig,
That knew how to put together a puzzle with it’s muzzle.
6 bush brumbies running so free,
There as pretty as can be,
I wish I could be a wild horse with a mane
I would run around and snort eating a big red candy cane!
7 Seven hefty heifers, all black and white
One said to the other hefty heifers, “I wish I could fly a kite!”
The farmer yelled, “I going to scream if you don’t make me some cream!”
The hefty heifer said, “How?”
“Because you’re a cow that’s how!”
8 Eight galahsthey like to sing and talk a lot
They live in the great Australian Outback where it’s hot
One tired galah said aloud, “I wish I could sleep in a cot when it’s hot!”
9 Nine black cockatoos sitting on their tree,
Eating nuts and berries from what I can see,
There so bright and colorful just like A BumbleBEE!
10 Ten fat bullocks known as a steer or an ox,
These silly bulls wish they knew how to box,
You can’t box said the farmer because you an immature ox
And most all an ox can’t box!
Only a man can!
