from/for/to... a poet/friend this dream is mine yet seems not... you see, the mirror showed a face not my own. a face, so alone... a face all alone? no. no, not at all alone, for i am there... as well. i fell into a dry sea of breathing tears they shone, as rubies, deep red, blood red, heart-beaten red stones. yet soft as the pillow i wept through, the night my soul died... one...one, i dared touch and it broke my heart...or i did. it's there, now, i feel the color and i know it is alive, beating beating beating as a gull's wings flapping over the shore, staring, that mirrored stare...here. inside, i hide it well and it lives... i wake and find my hands, both shaking... until they find the heart within my own... awake... you see, this dream was mine, and now...?

eloquent is a lovely word used by covert cow id use it too.

Usually poetry with no capitalisation (or is it capitolisation?) really is unattractive, but in this case, it was fit for the poem. I enjoyed it much and enjoyed the emphasis on certain baby stanzas. I find it very nice read!
