this chasm

to all who know what it is to be in that "hole"/"chasm" -- or have ever experienced it, this is for you. and my wish is that you see... there is "hope".

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
this
chasm
this vortex of...
of lack,
blue/black
why? back!
sigh, cry-
OUT (in...in...in)
inate, within.
self- ish
buries wish...
deadly kiss. GO AWAY!
and no one can
understand? no! many
can. yet, all
all
all
alone within own.
see?
better, if not
CAN'T WANT THAT FOR YOU
or any...any ... any WHO do!
ah, still
free-will?
not, however given fill...
nearly nil!
except in battle-weary rising up
yet again...
yes and please not? AGAIN.
talk of sin?
COUNT IT IN..
not performed, no...given
to a ...a few?
and how does one
atone for what one never asked for?
never would have owned!
if given a choice!?
still,
perhaps one...or more...
will know they
are
not...
not alone?
yet, such a pittance
to give to you... who do!
still, if any can receive
even a slight, flimsy reprieve
perhaps...
a speck, anemic though it be ...
may tender
some
hope?
prison walls
are there for a reason--
to be climbed over
and
over
and over
so that life might see you home
escape, escape...and all you've known of the grinding
pain
may
not
be
in vain.
we just have to try and climb out of the chasm, before it fills up with more debris,
burying us...until then, there is always hope - thanks for offering a hand up ! (-:
This is why I admire your voice as much as I do:
prison walls
are there for a reason--
to be climbed over.
and over and over
You write from within, you sing the text as you type. I'm bowing.
:) Yes, Mi, it may have not been in vain. Never for you, who climbs and falls and climbs, evermore. You will reach the top, Micha, your soul is so close, you question the all. So close, Mi...
