sometimes, it hurts, and yet, perhaps it wasn't meant to be, sigh, when one breaks, well, perhaps it wasn't meant, but aging maybe makes one wonder? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
she has a mother...
she has no
children of
her
own
and...
she has sisters,
all are mothers...
she has no
children
of
her
own, yet...
these
sisters
each and all
cared
enough to share,
truly share
theirs
and Oh, how much
it meant...
how she loved them
and still does, yet
has to dare
to put
that
aside
as they grow and
she,
she goes...
she has a mother
a family, yet...
not her 'own',
yes, her own, yet
not
that
way
you know?
still she
needs to love,
needs love
wants,
must...
must love
must
have
love
musn't we
all?
and
perhaps
that is
why she, oh
here and there
might cry
and try to
forget
about that
old,
broken,
dull-eyed,
damned
freak-doll
who
haunts...

You write from your heart, and your words are your children, because your pen and spirt gave them breath...so you are a mother of sorts....and words have their own immortality...but I do understand the ache. I have 2 kids, but I remember prior to motherhood working in Manhattan, and there must have been a maternity dr, in my neighborhood, because I would see pregnant woman left and right, and it drove me nutz, and around that time I deceided to try parenthood....but I remember the ache. This is beautifully expressed Micha...from your extradonary spirit.
Sexuality is very misunderstood. What if the tornado dropped Dorothy not into Oz, but onto the shooting set of an X-rated film?
