WITHOUT SAYING A WORD
There are some things that are conveyed without saying a word
Spoken loud and clear for special ears to be heard
What I have to say can never be said
Of course you know with each step you tread.
Echo’s across the plains of life shed meaning
Sometimes they seem without circumstance
When there should have been bright lights and romance
Bares an empty heart from within and without.
Shall life deal a hand without a winner
And the thoughts of long ago grow thinner
When before me stood all the joys in the world
Never to have as truth unfurl.
Without saying a word of course you know
You’ve made someone heart aglow
A moment of truth is worth the price
Be sweet forever, wonderful and nice.
Of course I know our paths will never meet
I want to let you know it has been a treat
To make your acquaintance and it’s a grand prize
My heart sings a song for it is like paradise.
Beloved you know before others you were the apple of my eye
On this Day I’d like to let you know why
When I first beheld you God opened my heart
With feelings be shared exclusively with you until death do us part.
