Ocean is gently kissing the golden shore.
Crimson orb obscured
Alabaster assemblage gracing the firmament
Dolphins frolic breaching for my entertainment
Pain banished—held in abeyance
Fears nonexistent
Sirens and blaring horns silenced
Alarm clocks powerless to disturb
Weight of the problems lifted
Performance pressure deleted
Music of birds soothe my soul
Temporary freedom is mine
Momentary peace lifts my spirit

You capture the blissful peace well. Sometimes I think one doesn't realize how much pain there has been until a moment of peace brings sweet relief.

I have chronic pain myself (degenerative arthritis); my twin, meanwhile, has back pain (degenerative disk disease, fibromyalgia, pinched nerves in shoulders and neck, sciatic pain in both legs, and arthritis). So we know very well the tune of pain. Not easy to live with, but it means we're still alive! :) Great write, Bobbi Ann; well done!
