Yes, I agree with Lori's comment completely. The last stanza really hammers it home though for me too. Kind of speaks of life itself. You reach that point and, wow, like the line goes "you've got to rage against the dying of the light!" Gets harder and harder...nostalgia turns to reflection turns to praying for the thaw. Nicely written.
It must be the season to write about seasons. This evokes tremendous emotion. In my opinion, the line "Love was a joyous tumble in the fragrance of you" is as beautiful as poetry gets.
