I wrote this in 2007, as I walked the Fundy shore, in Nova Scotia, and brought closure to a few lost dreams. The pic was taken in the same place.
Fundy Mist by The Poetess (SRP)
Through the mist
Gentle waves wash
Fundy carved stone.
There is peace
In my exploration
Of this home
Away from home.
I think I'll linger here
For another bit of time
And wish these
Precious moments
Into remaining
Forever mine.

My wife and I have been here twice--to the place that has both the highest and lowest tides. Autumn is a most wonderful time to travel there. With these words, you have taken me there a third time. Thanks. David Lee Thompson
Almost like a moment of epiphany, Poetess. Your verses are compelling and the photo very effectively complements what you share within them. Thank you. Love and best wishes,
Sharon, reading this and seeing the familiar sight of the Fundy shore I can see that you have embraced my province into your heart as a permanent memory. Thank you for sharing.
