A weakening body, a spirit so strong
Always helping others along
Her life revolved around her girls
They were her wealth, her treasured pearls
For years her body ravaged
No one ever quite envisaged
A life without this gentle soul
Playing her maternal role
Her heart was an open door
Give her love; she’d give you more
Old fashioned, honest and true
Whatever are we going to do?
Without her kindness and strength
Without her support at any length
Without her reassuring smile
Without her with us, every mile
Her soul is now in heaven above
Where she’ll continue her undying love
She’ll look down and keep us from harm
Gently guiding us by the arm
We have not lost her, we never will
We’ll hear her when the air is still
We’ll hear her in the falling rain
Protecting us till we meet again
and fulled with such emotion.
One day you will see her again.
