Bathes my body and soul tonight
In brightest milk white lightAwakens me to its stroll
As it steals across deep azure sky
Caresses me where I lie
In its voluptuous glory to extoll
It plays the jester's role
Slipping silently behindDiaphanous clouds to spellbindCannot hide as it plays its game
To gain acclaim of hide and seek
To plant a kiss upon my cheek
To make me lay awake
And wonder if my soul will take
The journey to an outward land
Where I may dance upon the sand
As it conducts the starry band
