Pedestrian poetry caught alive

Poem Artwork

this is man
lying politically dead
unsound
in an open grave
above the ground
he wont wake up
however hard
his comatose
soul you pound
a BJP pamphlet
on his
untwittering heart
silence all around
man his own greatest enemy
a knave a master
lord of the flies
a king uncrowned
his fragile world
a swine flu
has trounced

“SWINE!!The H1N1 strain of swine flu is usually associated with pigs. When the flu spreads person-to-person, instead of from animals to humans, it can continue to mutate, making it a tougher strain that is harder to treat or fight off. ” Nice Jewish Girl

This is
truth
at feet
of man
unseen
once grand
vision decays
like sand
through a
hand now gone.

Great analogy comparing politicians to the swine flu. It's a little too true.

Thank you Cynthia
I shot this a few days back at a election rally , he was a living dead unaware of the attacks on this planet ..this is my genre of pedestrian poetry of pain..i shoot pain as I see it on the viewfinder of my human soul.

Very factual write - to the point! Man is not only politically dead, he's also spiritually dead and morally depraved! Thanks for the info on Swine Flu, it is now airborne and we can breathe the virus floating in worldwide atmosphere...what next?
