Loneliness is like a ghostly shadow
 following  you everywhere you go
It becomes your friend by choice or by circumstance
showing up at events
Trying to prevent you from enjoying yourself

wispering negative words in your   ear
Is what It does best
He is the last thing you realize  at night
And the first thing  you realize in the morning
Greeting you with open arms with a smirk on his face

He takes your mind to far away places
Into deep abyss and on mountain tops
Filling your mind with unreal fantasies
Turning your life up side down like a roller coaster
And then he bring you back to reality

So the next time you see loneliness be aware
 He has nothing but heart- aches and pain to share
HeTakes away your happiness and leaves you sad
So go out and find someone to show love and care
