My Haiti was once a beautiful place
now all is left is a people devastated
with more hunger and despair
I will pray for you, I will share my abundance with you
know that I love you, know that I will keep you in my heart always, know that the world will come to your aid
The world over heard your cries my beautiful Haiti, your despair will turn into hope, your tears will be wiped away
do not give up, after the many deluges, the time has come for many colorful rainbows!
great poem! Painful to make you remember how the people of Haiti suffered during the earthquake. May God rest the souls of those who died as a result of the disaster in eternal paradise. Amen.

A truly inspiring piece, Nicole. There is an eternal spring of hope in great sadness and it is there in every line of this meaningful work. Have faith in the knowledge that blessings will come to those who patiently wait and comfort will be provided to those who mourn. Peace and love in Christ.
YOU HAVE MADE YOUR FEELINGS FOR YOUR NATIVE LAND SO CLEAR...IN THIS WORK, ONE CAN WELL UNDERSTAND YOUR PAIN DUE TO THE RECENT DEVASTATION BUT ALSO I HEAR THE FAITHFUL HOPE AND PRIDE THAT KNOWS HAITI WILL BE REVIVED TO BE EVEN BETTER THAN SHE WAS BEFORE. I LOVE THE PRESENTATION OF THIS POWERFUL AND INSPIRING WORK. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS AND THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
