LOVE IS NOT DEAD

The human race faces the greatest challenge ever, it is not about politics, it is not about wealth, it is not about race, it is not about patriotism, it is about love of God and your fellow human.

Wake up human race
stop listening to greed
halt this pointless journey
through political bacteria
that infects the Earth's breeds.
Destroying our planet
with all life that exists
all because of rich b'stards
as well as dictator's,
how that beats drums
like patriotic heart beats
that call for national glory
as they threaten each other
with violent fury.
What happened to love?
who ripped out their hearts?
who are these creatures
with beast like implants.
Love is not dead
it will survive
long after these political animals
have passed
into their graves,
mourned with hired voices
in church services
to sing their praise,
then flushed down the sewer
go their remains.
Love is not dead
it will survive
God is not slow
as some deride
he is patient
wants all to survive.
Soon will come
evils final call
then they will be gone
Satanic violence
greed hate
one and all.
No racial barriers
ethnic walls
no patriotic drum beats
no more wars.
No guns or weapons
of any kind,
no more evil
because it is true
love is not dead
it has survived
for us all us
including you.

Love is not dead and it will never die. A very inspiring and positive poem, so relevant today. A blessing to read.
