…and your sons and your daughters will prophesy

Joel 2:28                  

He has eyes that have seen no evil

Lips that have spoken no guile

Ears that hear whispers of angels

and a spirit undefiled

by the cares and concerns of a fallen world, 

he is deaf to the siren’s call, 

but he hears loudly and clearly

the sound of our Savior

and eagerly awaits the small,

still voice, that beckons him to be faithful

and follow closely behind,

so that he won’t miss a word of comfort

or fail to see the Son shine

on that day of His appearing

and his heart won’t skip a beat

when he hears the call 

“Come home, my child,

and sit at the Master’s feet.”

I hear a rumble.

He has no need for fortune or fame

he is one of the innocent few

chosen by God to speak His name

and to share with all the Good News.

Jesus is coming.

I hear a rumble, Jesus is coming, 

Listen, and you can hear it, too.

God wouldn’t tell me if it were not so

Get ready, get ready to go.

I’m so happy.
