I often pray and say…Dear God…
I don’t know what I would do without…You
Herein, facing a hard hour…
this is more than completely true .
When…life happens…especially to your child…
it hurts.
Certainly, one’s faith in God is there, but…
the pain…flirts.
My first born, Kim…about whom I’ve posted poems
has had a mini-stroke
Tho’ prognosis is good, with her home amidst therapy…
my ‘ache’ for her…yet soaks.
Undoubtedly, a union…is also being tested…
a union… which heaven did indeed allocate
Where caring strength is being evidenced
in the attendance of a loving mate.
And…I must give my daughter credit, as …
despite it all, she is ‘taking it on the chin’
Albeit, how marvelous is our Ever-Present Healer
who faithfully emits… His vim.
Not only to her but also to me, for…
as scenes from her yesteryears flash…
they cause my concerned heart to recall…
the treasure of her perfect… first laugh.
Thus, pressing-on I’m so very grateful for a Creator
who unquestionably…has everything in tow
Whereby I reiterate…Oh, Dear Lord…
without You, what would I do?!? …I just don’t know.

My computer to make my poem started to act up today and delayed my getting my poem to my website in here about three hours. I hope I don't have to buy another computer.
