Keeping our eyes on things eternal...Let's Press-on!

Inevitably, this world’s present raucous… coupled with our personal strife will stir…deep concerns in most of us. And though, of course, we’re aware this earth be not our home, still… the…glow…of tomorrow’s prophetic pageant is quite often…difficult to imagine. However, consider; what are we facing... that our God doesn't already know about? Tell me, is there absolutely…anything… He is permitting in these hours of drought… of which He neglected to give us due warning… of its dawning? With this in mind… I implore you, let not your hope and trust…decline peer through Spectacles of Faith and…see us! For, when all tears and pains… are washed away in...forgotten rain, after every ‘war’ is over, won and done… over there… we shall behold the pristine new earth’s…Son! With raised hearts and voices…in joyous sing for what the fullness of time…did bring… 'Forever' ...will surely Begin! And we will go on and on, eternally… Worshipping …The King!!! Your poetic insights are always a blessing for me to read. Your faith, JMS Bell, is a strong flame that burns brightly. As I see it: worshiping the Most High God is not limited to formal services, but is a continual act of the heart, mind, and spirit, expressing gratitude, awe, and devotion in every aspect of life. Psalm 96:9... "Worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness, tremble before Him, all the earth." And John 4:24.... "God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." Joyce, your words lift the heart straight into that eternal horizon you�re pointing toward. You capture so beautifully the tension we all feel�living in a world full of noise and strain, yet called to keep our gaze fixed on the promises God has already secured for us.
