It absorbs the treasures of
the season’s fields and proceeds…
on its way.
It nestles spices, sometimes lavender
that may grace a random windowsill…
but again, it does not stay.
Even encountered radiant new roses
with their intoxication flowing bare…
cannot its path…deter.
For, directed by You, Creator God…
Your Air…to us it comes to claim
and embellishing with…strength…
calls our name.
O Jehovah, just when life’s anxieties…
affect our breathing free
Your Air…
filled with wondrous particles of hope
inebriates liberally.
And this is not every now and then, but…
with each new day’s start
it is…Your Air…of succulent faith
which encourages our heart.
So it is, daily…as we journey on
it is for this replenishing gift…
the imparting of a life-giving plate
…Your Air…that we await.
