I wait for you to become wise enough to know
patience lasts longer than thirst.
Not knowing next, but knowing now,
knowing where I’m going is not where your at.
Although, I thirst I know better and
I know that thirst doesn’t last long.
I wonder will you be able to follow and
allow your patience to last longer than
the lips that thirst.
If that reads so, then I know when thirst divides
lust from love, if I find you still standing,
knowing next, and knowing now, then
knowing where I’m going,
I’ll stand with patience,
waiting for you to now enter.
