THE JOURNEY

As the soul bows

upon its hands and knees,

the Holy Spirit lays down its might,

a heavenly breeze

to cleanse the soul of all doubts and impurities.

The soul stands firm and strong,

reborn in the eyes of the Lord.

The soul is drawn towards the sky,

the voice of an angel, speaking through its mind,

"May God be with you

as your journey begins.

Your choices in life

will determine your destiny.

Remember this:

God’s love roams heaven and earth.

Before you decide, let Him be heard.

The Son of man is the key to life,

Jesus, is always by your side.

Let Him help you guide your life,

so I can see you in Paradise."

In no time, its journey began,

the quest for God, the ultimate chore,

blood, sweat, and tears,

as the soul carries its cross over the years.

Look to God when the well is near;

hold on to your cross and never fear.

God will not forsake the one who comes to him.

The evil one will lure you

to the well so deep.

Fight every temptation from darkness,

where you once lived.
