What ever happens in life we must NEVER give up!!!

THE SHADOW OF DOUBT

On this day,

my journey begins,

destination unknown.

The path I must endure

has opened its doors,

no human can follow,

I am all alone.

I must walk through the shadow of doubt.

I have hidden myself for many years,

covered the truth with a mask from ear to ear.

To look beyond the mirror

was impossible for me to bear.

I configured an image in my mind

for inspiration on those doubting times.

The ugliness I felt inside

nearly destroyed my life.

All I wanted to find

was peace of mind,

so I could continue

living my life.

I believed love would heal my mind,

anxiety still plays from time to time,

a curse in my life,

a burden I cannot hide.

Sometimes I fall upon my side,

cry with all my might,

I cannot seem to fight,

this thorn in my mind.

The awakening I dare to have,

a dream of many times:

One day I will climb so high, free my mind,

from the depths of darkness where he resides.

My friends I tell you the truth,

it is I who lays cold.

Helpless and forgotten,

I will never give in,

my strength will fight until I win,

I will carry my cross until the end.
