Sing to me Mother
Sing to me Mother, the little girl cried.
Sing to me of days gone by.
Sing of the days when we lived with pride.
Tell me why our people cry.
Tell me Mother why they have come,
Who are those men carrying guns.
Why is that bulldozer crumbling our home?
Why is the smoke blocking the sun?
Sing to me about the marketplace.
Why did the airplane drop its bombs?
Everything burned beyond a trace
Sing to me please about Daddy’s Tomb.
Sing to me Mother the little girl cried,
As the soldiers destroyed all that she’d known.
Not understanding her Mother had died.
Or why the seed of hatred had grown.
Sing to me Mother, the little girl cried.
Sing to me of days gone by.
Sing of the days when we lived with pride.
Tell me why our people cry.

This poem questions and the answers could be given
by the Archbishop of Canterbury,
the United Nations Security
Council´s Five Permanent Members,
The World Council of Churches
and The Vatican. They would answer that,
"THE REASON IS THAT PEOPLE BELIEVE ON WHAT THEY SAY."
This composition strikes thoughts on our realities as
BENIGHTED BEINGS OF THE PLANET EARTH, and makes me keep
"ON A JOURNEY TO JUSTICE FOR JUSTICE EVERYWHERE"
"Sing to me Mother" is asking for JUSTICE.
I salute You, Sublime Poet!
