Been while since Old Aesop made an appearance in the Den.....anyone reading this who ISN'T familiar with Aesop's other adventures posted here won't know Aesop's a mouse who's led a rather......INTERESTING life!!
Aesop's enjoying his old age He's having quite a time He's given up his crazy ways His life of jokes and crime. He's settled in and slowed way down Remembers all his fun His visits with friends, his dirty tricks, His life's been on the run. But porch swings and grandkids now are his "thing" And he's just loving life He fondly remembers with a smile Each and every wife (!!) So now he watches sunrise come And sunsets as they go He's loving every minute he has Before the end of the show................

Pam, this is so cute. I guess all of those wives aged him up fast. I wrote a similar poem this morning, but about myself. Great write, Dear friend.

Sounds like a mouse who knows how to live! Don't kill him off too soon; we need to hear more about Aesop!!
