If you would be happy for your stealing to be part
of the norm, then steal without a sorrow in your heart,
caring not if others steal from you what you have worked for,
caring not about what you have sacrificed and hurt for.

If you would be happy for your untruths to become
commonplace for all, then lie from dawn till day is done,
caring not if others lie to you in the same way,
caring not that you cannot depend on what they say.

If you would be happy for someone to share your wife,
worry not about the other woman in your life
and if you would not feel ill-at-ease if all would shriek
at you, be unpleasant and abusive, never meek.

If you would be happy for someone to punch your face
without provocation, or defile your cherished place,
live a life of violence and destruction; keep no peace.
