I was thinking about
my positive
but my mind kept flashing
on my negative
Negative seems to
automatically appear
Positive has to be forced near
Negative reads loud and clear
basically because it contains
my fear

Fears at times are frightening
they will strike with the force
of lightening
Combined together life becomes
more exciting
Especially overcoming most of
the fears in versing and writing

It is certainly understood
that positive is more good
however negative eats at the mind
like termites after wood
I'd remain positive the rest of
my life if I could
However the struggle between
negative and positive forces
involves the struggle between
evil and good choices
Man has a tendency at times
to ride both wild horses

Bad and good things chases
all men
According to religious dogma
man was born into sin
One mans junk might make
another man grin
Another mans good might
make an evil man frown
No man can measure up
to Jesus without feeling down
My negative isn't that bad
for this reason I stay happy
and don't be sad
When my negative appears
I patch azz and get glad
