tears that cry alone
soon welcome
a brand new home
wild flowers in the field
stand proud and still
for random is beautifully real
as the midnight hour rings
and yesterday boastfully sings
tomorrow will come
marching back in with new things
bad things pay with sorrow and sin
good things flow from the heart with in
fear runs from the truth
and give sail for sadness to prevail
true love can stop it all
when hate makes a call
turn the corner
today is a new day
like wild flowers
standing proud and strong
keep it real
as you travel along
how it ends
is how it begins
A bit of wisdom about how things really are. Like the wildflowers, beauty and pain come along to everyone, sometimes. But other times it is something different.
Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
