Why do you turn away.. Every time you get uncomfortable.. With what I have to say.. I tried sharing with you parts of me.. Showing trust.. In hopes you could see.. Past your own fear.. Show me who you are.. The REAL you on the inside.. The one with scars Imperfections.. The man The child.. Tell me your secrets.. They are safe with me I swear.. But WE are like the blind.. Trying to give light.. Not knowing how to find it.. But wanting to illuminate our dark life.. I am afraid of what you know of me.. Afraid of what you think. Afraid of what you see.. Do you only see the outside.. The inside? Are you one dimensional? Is your vision flat.. There are many in this world who have this I n a b i l i t y to see.. Snap a shot.. Am I a photograph.. No deeper than a picture on paper .. Nothing inside.. Rip the picture in half .. I will not bleed. Now I have to wonder.. Is that how you see me? Never going deeper.. Than face value? And I don't know how to tell you.. I don't know if I dare.. You are not one dimensional in my eyes.. You are a spirit.. A wise soul.. You are a fighter.. Lost in many ways.. Not quite knowing what direction to go.. I hope you find your way someday.. To see in vibrant three dimensional light.. The feelings.. The color.. The love.. Your life could start anew.. When you only see what is skin deep.. The only one to lose.. is you.

When you only see what is skin deep..
The only one to lose..
is you.
So true!
Pertinent questions that demand answers..
Very well written in staccato form..
